Animal Task Force
There shall be an animal task force on animal issues whose duty it shall be to advise the mayor and council on the establishment of appropriate practices and policies regarding animals and the safety of the public. (CMC: Sec. 701-60)
Board of Health
The Board of Health is responsible for the promotion, protection, and maintenance of the public’s health. This responsibility may be achieved by (but is not limited to) development and enforcement of health laws, prevention of disease, education, and curative and rehabilitation activities.
Board of Housing Appeals
The Board of Housing Appeals conducts public hearings and decides appeals from notices of violation, decisions, or orders issued by the Department of Buildings and Inspections, Division of Property Maintenance and Code Enforcement, and the Community Reinvestment Area program. The Board of Housing Appeals of the City of Cincinnati, Ohio shall be governed by Section 1101-83 of the Cincinnati Municipal Code.
Board of Park Commissioners
The mission of the Cincinnati Board of Park Commissioners is to conserve, manage, sustain, and enhance parks’ natural and cultural resources and public greenspace for the enjoyment, enlightenment and enrichment of the Cincinnati community.
Children and Families Cabinet
To advise the Mayor and Council about policy initiatives and to measure and monitor data on the improvement of safety, housing, health, cultural and societal exposure, and career opportunities for children and families in Cincinnati
Cincinnati Accessibility Board of Advisors (CABA)
CABA’s mission is to consider and make recommendations to the City Manager on issues of accessibility for persons with disabilities within the City of Cincinnati with the goal of making Cincinnati more inclusive and accessible.
Cincinnati Art Museum
The Cincinnati Art Museum Board establishes and is responsible and accountable for the general policies that govern the operations of the Cincinnati Art Museum.
Cincinnati Arts Association
The Cincinnati Arts Association is a not-for-profit organization that oversees the programming and management of two of the Tri-state’s finest performing arts venues – the Aronoff Center for the Arts and Music Hall – and is dedicated to supporting performing and visual arts.
Cincinnati Elections Commission
The Cincinnati Elections Commission (CEC) is a five-member board of citizens appointed by the Mayor to administer and enforce Article XIII of the City of Cincinnati Charter, which regulates campaign contribution limits for municipal elections.
Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority
The purpose and objective of the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is to provide well maintained, sanitary, safe, and affordable housing for low to moderate income families within the Authority’s territorial jurisdiction.
Cincinnati Recreation Commission
To provide effective leadership, adequate facilities, and wise planning and expenditure of funds for recreation so that all Cincinnatians will have the opportunity to enrich their lies through meaningful, leisure time pursuits.
Cincinnati Retirement System
The Cincinnati Retirement System (CRS) Board is ultimately responsible for all administration and management of the Cincinnati Retirement System including setting retirement system policies, approving the overall investment plan and asset allocation strategy, reviewing and approving budgets and acting as fiduciaries of the System.
Cincinnati Southern Railway
The Board of Trustees of the Cincinnati Southern Railway (CSR) was created according to the provisions of the Ohio General Code 15093 et seq. and any supplemental legislation including applicable ordinances of the City of Cincinnati.
Citizen Complaint Authority
The Citizen Complaint Authority Board review each investigative to confirm completeness of the CCA investigation; and approve or disapprove the Executive Director’s report.
City Planning Commission
The powers and duties of the commission shall be to make plans and maps of the whole or any portion of the city and of any land outside the city which, in the opinion of the commission, bears a relation to the planning of the city, and to make changes in additions to and extensions of such plans or maps when it deems advisable.
Civil Service Commission
The Civil Service Commission is required to administer and enforce the State Civil Service Laws and its own rules which sustain the State Civil Service Laws. As an administrative body, it is responsible for the legal advertising of all entrance and promotional civil service examinations; the conduct and grading of these examinations, the determination of rules and regulations governing examination conduct and other matters covered in the State Civil Service Laws; the classification of all positions; and the review of such human resources transactions as transfers, reinstatements, emergency and exceptional appointments for conformity with law.
Community Action Agency
To act as advocate, provider and facilitator for the full range of public and private resources, programs and policies which give low-to-moderate income individuals the opportunity to improve the quality of life for themselves, their families and their communities.
Community Development Advisory Board
The Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB) shall advise and assist the city manager in planning the allocation of federal resources for community development, economic development, and human services in the city.
Downtown Special Improvement District
To develop and implement plans for public improvements and services that benefit the District and enhance the value of downtown office, retail, residential and other diversified properties.
Economic Inclusion Advocacy and Accountability Board
The mission of the Economic Inclusion Advocacy and Accountability Board shall be to promote economic inclusion, serve as a public advocate for the Department of Economic Inclusion in fulfilling the recommendations of the Economic Inclusion Advisory Council and measure the impact of the economic inclusion programs and initiatives within the City of Cincinnati.
HC Transportation Improvement District
A body both corporate and politic, and the exercise by it of the powers conferred by ORC Chapter 5540 in the financing, construction, maintenance, repair, and operation of a project are and shall be held to be essential governmental functions;
Hamilton County Convention Facilities Authority
To implement the expansion, renovation and operation of the Cincinnati Convention Center.
Housing Advisory Board
To recommend and develop programs to address the rental needs of low-income families as its primary function and to secondarily focus on the identification of methods and programs to increase market rate rental and homeownership opportunities specifically within the City of Cincinnati.
Human Service Advisory Committee
The City of Cincinnati Human Services Advisory Committee (HSAC) provides assistance to the Director of Human Services in the planning, development, and implementation of City funded human services programs and projects.
Internal Audit Committee
The Internal Audit Committee is established pursuant to Section 15 of the Municipal Code of the City of Cincinnati and shall provide assistance to city management and City Council in fulfilling their responsibilities related to: a) The performance of the City’s Internal Audit function; b) The quality of and the City’s compliance with Internal control policies and procedures; and c) The assessment of risk faced by the City and the adequacy of risk management systems.
King Records Legacy Committee
To oversee and implement the vision for the King Brewster buildings, i.e., design and building and use, what will happen to make legacy alive with arts, education, civil rights, impacting the community and to develop long term financial strategy and sustainability plan for the King Brewster buildings
Lunken Airport Oversight Advisory Board
To provide for the review of operations, capital improvements, development, and growth at Lunken Airport and to advise and make recommendations to City Council based upon the results of such review.

The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) is a council of local governments, business organizations and community groups committed to developing collaborative strategies to improve the quality of life and the economic vitality of the region

Southwest Ohio Region Workforce Investment Board
The Southwest Ohio Region Workforce Investment Board (SWORWIB) is a 501c3 Ohio chartered nonprofit organization. The SWORWIB implements the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) in the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. The board is responsible for developing strategies to engage employers, employees, government, education, organized labor and community based organizations in a partnership to strengthen and expand the workforce resources of the region for the benefit of all the participants and communities where we live, work and raise our families.
Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is a tax-supported, independent political subdivision of the State of Ohio and is a government entity. SORTA operates Metro fixed-route bus service and Access paratransit service for people whose disabilities prevent their riding Metro buses. The purpose of the board is to administer all of the affairs of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority.
Woodward HS Board of Trustees
