Purpose: To provide effective leadership, adequate facilities, and wise planning and expenditure of funds for recreation so that all Cincinnatians will have the opportunity to enrich their lies through meaningful, leisure time pursuits.

Number of Appointments: 5 Members; 3 Mayoral Appointments

Term Length: 5-Year Terms

Speccial Requirements: 5 members: one member of the Board of Education appointed by the said board, one member of the Board of Park Commissioners appointed by the said board, and three citizens appointed by the Mayor.
