Purpose: Makes recommendations concerning rules and regulations regarding forestry operations to the Director of Parks and the City Manager. Members are appointed by the City Manager for a term of four years. Also advises Park Director on issues, such as citizen appeals and program development.

Meeting Schedule: Meets at least six times per year. The schedule varies but the meetings are always held on the second Thursday of the month.

Requirements: Chapter 743 of CMC: Advisory Board is made of 9 members representing specific elements/ sectors of "interested parties" Those sectors are: Community (2 representatives), Green Industry (2 representatives), Businesses (2 Representatives) the City Engineer, a representative of Community Development and a representative from the Department of Transporation and Engineering. The members of the Board are either de-facto because of their occupation or appointed by the City Manager, upon recommendation of the Cincinnati Board of Park Commissioners, to represent the other sectors (Neighborhood, Green Industry, Businesses).
