Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Advisory Review Board


Authority: Established under the 1988-1992 Affirmative Action Program. Board is appointed by City Manager. Appointments are made to reflect legal, community and employee representation.

Purpose: Board acts as a third step in the four step EEO complaint process. It functions as a clearinghouse for employee EEO complaint appeals, and hears every appeal request. The Board submits its findings to the City Manager, the fourth step in the complaint process, for review and disposition.

Meeting Schedule: The Board meets on an as needed basis when an appeal is brought forward. The meetings are held at the United Way Building on Reding Road in Avondale.
