Authority: 1 member from Community Development and Planning Department (who should act as chair), 1 member from the Law Department, 1 member from the Department of Transportation & Engineering, 1 member from the Cincinnati Historical Society Library of the Museum Center, 1 member from the business community of the City of Cincinnati (public sector member) - currently vacant, 2 private citizens of the City of Cincinnati

Purpose: Established to make recommendations to the Director of Community Development and Planning Department regarding the naming or renaming of City Facilities. City Facilities include streets, rights-of-way, alleys, buildings, and land but do not include rooms, hallways, or items of personal property.

Meeting Schedule: Meet when needed to discuss a request for name change to a City Facility. On average Committee has met twice a year over the past three years, once in the spring and again in the fall.

Appointment: Members from City departments appointed and serve at the pleasure of their department directors, members from the Cincinnati Historical Society Library of the Museum Center will be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of Museum Center's Director, three public sector members appointed by the City Manager to serve staggered three year terms.
