PUBLIC HEARING
Special Meeting of the Budget & Finance Committee
At a Special Meeting, the Budget and Finance Committee will have a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., at City Hall, 801 Plum Street, Council Chambers, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, to discuss and pass the Tentative Tax Budget for the year 2020.
State law (Sections 5705.28 and 5705.30, Revised Code of Ohio), requires that the City of Cincinnati: a) prepares a fiscal operating budget; b) adopts the tax budget on or before January 15, 2019; and c) submits a council-approved budget to the County Auditor no later than January 20, 2019 preceding the fiscal year to which it applies.
The submission of the council-approved Tax Budget to the County Auditor by January 20, 2019 is the final determinant for setting the millage for the following year.
The Annual Tentative Tax Budget for 2020 (Documents number 201801768 version A & 201801770 version B) is available for inspection in the Office of the Clerk of Council, 801 Plum Street, Room 308, Cincinnati Ohio 45202.
