Answer: Water meters can be purchased at the Engineering branch counter. Please bring the completed blue domestic CCQ and a building or plumbing permit to the Engineering branch counter located at 4747 Spring Grove Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.

If your meter was stolen or is missing please visit a customer service representative in person at 4747 Spring Grove Ave Cincinnati, Ohio 45232 and they will be able to assist you in ordering you a replacement meter. The cost of a replacement meter is the responsibility of the homeowner.

  • If YES,  a new water service branch can be purchased and the existing well must be abandoned.
  • If NO, a water main extension must be completed to bring water onto the site.

Answer: No. Once a property has been connected to the public water system all wells must be capped and sealed according to GCWW rules and regulations.

Answer: Branch installation times vary depending on size of branch purchased.

  • For large branches (4” and larger) installation and schedule is determined by the private contractor you have hired to install the branch. Once your branch application is approved, your contractor must provide a bond, letter of intent, street opening permit and call our inspection team 7 days in advance to schedule an inspector.
  • For small branches (2” and smaller) installation normally occurs within 30-45 days.

  • Large branches 4” and larger, any fire branch or any branch to be installed as a part of a subdivision or private development are completed by the contractor hired by the developer or home owner.
