The GCWW PromisePay Plan Delivers Solutions, Support, and Service for Those Who Need Help with Delinquent Accounts

Nov 08, 2021

(CINCINNATI, OH) – Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) partnered with Promise Network Inc. (PromisePay) in August of 2021 to provide customers with an easy and convenient way to set up payment plans for past-due and delinquent charges to avoid potential shutoff at https://GCWW.promise-pay.com.

Given the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the PromisePay Portal provides customers a customized and affordable way to pay off past due charges and bring their accounts current.

The PromisePay Portal allows customers to select a payment plan option and set up automatic payments (via e-check, credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Venmo). Participants can also sign up for payment reminders and other notifications through text messaging. Both property owners and tenants are eligible to use the PromisePay Portal (tenants must have landlord authorization).

The Landlord Payment Plan Authorization Form is available at:
https://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/water/billing-information/landlord-payment-plan-authorization/

Customers who have an active PromisePay payment plan on their GCWW account(s), and keep up with their current charges (continue to pay their current utility bill), will be removed from the delinquency/shutoff list process.

The PromisePay Portal provides a comprehensive payment platform, which delivers:

  • Solutions -- payment flexibility and plan management with options to request a one-time due-date extension, modify due dates, and change payment methods
  • Support -- convenient payment types (credit/debit card, ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Venmo)
  • Service – via text reminders and notifications
  • Enrollment is EASY! Access the PromisePay Portal on your mobile phone or computer at
