GCWW and City Leadership Continue to Provide Valuable Assistance in Response to COVID-19
Now Waiving Late Fees

Today, in addition to the COVID-19 assistance measures already in place, Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley announced the temporary suspension of late fees for nonpayment of water bills until further notice; providing additional needed relief to water customers who may be facing financial hardship.

This is in response to COVID-19 and due to the critical role that water service plays in promoting handwashing, cleaning of surfaces, improved hygiene, and disease prevention. GCWW has already suspended water shutoffs and is restoring water service to previously-disconnected customers.

GCWW has stopped all shutoffs and is making sure you have the water you need during this challenging time.

Call 513-591-7700 if you have urgent questions or concerns. Our Call Center is open, but implementing a social distancing strategy. With reduced staffing, customers may experience longer wait times than usual. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Automated self-service and payment functions are also available over the phone, or you can manage your account and make payments online at Portal.myGCWW.org.

In light of  the recent developments with the COVID-19 outbreak, and to protect customers and employees from the spread of this disease, Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) is suspending customer lobby operations at the GCWW Administrative Office (4747 Spring Grove Avenue) as of the close of business (5:30 pm) on Friday, March 13, 2020.

At this time, we strongly recommend that customers leverage all of the available tools and resources for self-service bill payment and 24/7 account access through our online portal and/or voice payment options. Through these channels, customers can monitor account activities, make payments, view consumption, and more.

Customers can log in or enroll at Portal.myGCWW.org. If customers are not already enrolled and need assistance with this process, they may call the GCWW Customer Contact Center at 513-591-7700.

Engineering Division Customer Impact

The lobby closure will also impact GCWW customers such as developers, plumbers, engineers, etc. seeking to process payments, pick up materials, submit plan applications, etc. through our Engineering Division. Emails will be sent to customers with whom GCWW currently does business, explaining new processes and procedures.
