Disconnected Water Service

When Service Is Disconnected

There are several reasons your service might be disconnected:

  • If your water is disconnected for nonpayment, you must pay your bill before the water service will be reconnected. Once the required payment is made, it will be necessary to contact GCWW at (513) 591-7700 to restore service.
  • If your water service is disconnected for a failure to provide access to your meter, satisfactory arrangements must be made for the meter to be read and serviced, and the disconnection trip charge must be paid before water service will be reconnected.
  • If your water service is disconnected for failure to correct plumbing violations, the corrections must be made, and the disconnection trip charge must be paid before the water service will be reconnected.

Note: When a disconnection trip is made to the premises for non-payment or a failure to comply with other rules and regulations, a disconnection trip charge of a minimum of $35 will be charged to your account. Circumstances requiring additional resources or action may result in higher fees.

Once disconnected, service may be reconnected same business day if payment or other satisfactory resolution is received by 3 p.m.

Please contact us at 513-591-7700 immediately after payment to verify service will be reconnected.
