Always Ask For ID

If someone comes to your door and says they are with Greater Cincinnati Water Works, always ask to see their ID before you let them (or anyone) into your home.

Each GCWW employee carries a picture ID, and personnel who may be in your street or may approach your home wear blue, brown or high-visibility uniforms with "Greater Cincinnati Water Works" logos on their apparel and hats. GCWW trucks and equipment are also clearly identified.

GCWW sometimes uses contractors for certain services, including our meter change-outs.
Contractors will have a GCWW ID as well as their company ID.

If you have any suspicions about a person, call a GCWW Call Center Representative immediately at 513-591-7700.
Do not let the person into your home before calling.
