Naming Rights Sold For 2 Streetcar Stations
Aug 25, 2016
CINCINNATI – Naming rights have been sold for two of the 18 Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar stations:
- JACK Casino station: Court & Main streets
- Hanke Exchange station: 12th & Main streets (purchased by the Stough Group)
Advertising Vehicles has the contract with the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority to sell the naming rights and advertising on the Cincinnati Bell Connector and 18 streetcar stations. Revenue from naming rights and advertising will be used for streetcar operations.
“It is great that two of the newest permanent fixtures to downtown are being named by two landmarks of OTR redevelopment,” said Co-Founder of Advertising Vehicles L.V. Semona. “These companies have contributed in their own way to what is great about our downtown scene.”
The naming rights for the streetcar stations is in addition to the recently announced Cincinnati Bell streetcar naming rights contract. In addition, UC Lindner College of Business, Rhinegeist, Richter & Phillips Jewelers, Four Entertainment Group, Taste of Belgium, Tom + Chee and Kerry Toyota have streetcar contracts, and several other contracts are being finalized.
