Goodbye Cincinnati Streetcar, Hello Cincinnati Bell Connector

New streetcar rebranding revealed; station rebranding in process

CINCINNATI – The newly renamed Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar got a new look today, just in time for the system’s grand opening celebration on Sept. 9.

The new design, name and logo are part of the recently announced naming rights sponsorship with Cincinnati Bell. Cincinnati Bell will pay $340,000 per year for 10 years under the contract agreement. Revenue from the naming rights will be used to help fund the streetcar operations.

The contract will provide the following:

  • The Cincinnati Streetcar will be renamed the Cincinnati Bell Connector.
  • The look of the streetcars will change, with Cincinnati Bell graphics on the front, back and top, as well as inside the streetcar. The current logo and colors will no longer be used.
  • Streetcar stations will be rebranded as Cincinnati Bell stations.

In addition to its new blue and green exterior, the Cincinnati Bell Connector branding changes will also be seen on all promotion material, including the streetcar’s website, social media and brochures.
