  Deputy Director

Burchett

Lori Burchett is Deputy Director for Streetcar Services in the Department of Transportation & Engineering.

She has more than 17 years of professional planning experience focusing on urban, regional and transit projects and local collaboration in developing sustainable and equitable transportation options.

Lori most recently worked for King County Metro Transit in Seattle, Wash., advancing major capital projects for bus/light rail integration and incentive-based programming to grow and encourage long-term transit ridership.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Northern Michigan University and a master’s in City and Regional Planning from the Ohio State University.

 

  Chief Safety Officer

Conway

Paul Conway is Deputy Director and Chief Safety Officer for Streetcar Services in the Department of Transportation & Engineering. He has worked for the city since 1999. He was most recently Division Manager and Transit Coordinator for Streetcar Services.

Prior to the city, Paul was a land surveyor working on projects throughout southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky, including the layout and construction of Paycor Stadium, home to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Paul has completed the Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Program (PTSCTP) and the Transit Safety and Security Program (TSSP), both administered by the Federal Transportation Agency/Transportation Safety Institute. He has an associate's degree in Civil Engineering/Surveying from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and a bachelor’s in Applied Science from the University of Cincinnati.

 

  Transit Coordinator

Hulme

Matthew Hulme is Division Manager for Streetcar Services and Transit Coordinator in the Department of Transportation & Engineering.

Matt has been with the City of Cincinnati in various roles since 2007. He served most recently as superintendent of parking in the Department of Community and Economic Development's Parking Division.

Prior to the city, Matt was a 9-1-1 operator and dispatcher in Campbell County, Ky. He also is medically retired from the U.S. Army Reserve after serving for more than 15 years as a firefighter and combat medic with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Matt has a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Public Administration from Villanova University.
