Teacher Resources

Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) and the Stormwater Management Utility (SMU) recognize that in order for us to move forward as utilities and also as a City, it is important to educate our children about what they can do now -- and in the future -- that will have a positive impact on our City...and we request your help in achieving this goal!

The videos below convey the importance of clean drinking water and managing stormwater.  We request that teachers and parents alike play the videos they feel would be appropriate for their students (whether in class, or home-schooled).

By showing these videos, you will also aid the City in fulfilling an EPA permit that requires outreach and education regarding water and stormwater-related matters.  If you show these videos please take the time to let us know by taking this short 3-question survey, indicating how many students watched the videos at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SMUvideodata.

SMU has also added the “Learning Materials” section below. Check it out!

GCWW and SMU thank you for sharing this site with others and for participating in this important initiative!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact SMU at (513) 591-5050 or email us at StormwaterManagement@cincinnati-oh.gov.
