CRC Flag Football - Youth
NFL Flag Football is provided free to Cincinnati Recreation Commission members and center scholarships are available for those in need.
The program began in 1989 in the backyards of the centers with makeshift flags stuck in players’ pockets with only a few players. A highlight of the NFL Flag program is the players’ appearance at halftime of a Bengals game.
The flag football skills, learned from volunteer coaches, are the reason they’re there, but the children also learn more important characteristics – strong morals, ethics and sportsmanship – while on and off the field.
