Arts

The Cincinnati Recreation Commission has offered arts programs since its founding in 1927. CRC arts programs have received awards from the National Recreation and Park Association and the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association, as well as a local Post Corbett Award.

Most Cincinnati Recreation Commission recreation centers offer visual and performing arts classes and programs.

Class offerings vary at each center, but include dance, pottery, painting, puppetry, quilting and artist-in-residence programs. Some centers have special arts facilities, such as pottery studios, dance studios and theaters.

Many classes are available at no fee with a recreation center membership. Fee-based classes have charges to cover the cost of materials and instructors.
