Background

The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA), on behalf of Santa Maria Community Services, is requesting a zone change from Single Family Residential (SF-2) to a Planned Development district (PD) at 1048 Considine Avenue in East Price Hill. The proposed development will include two, two-story buildings with surface parking, landscaping, walking trails, and the possibility of a raised garden bed and playground.

The south building will be a Community Service Facility and office for Santa Maria Community Services, consolidating all of their existing operations in to a single location. The north building will be a day care center that will service approximately 200 students, operated by Cincinnati Hamilton County Community Action Agency. The site is currently vacant.

The applicant originally submitted a request for a zone change to the Urban Mix District (UM).
