About The Historic Conservation Board 

The Historic Conservation Board, established by ordinance in 1980, consists of seven (7) members who are appointed by the City Manager. The Board must include at least one professional historic preservationist, one historian, two architects, one attorney, one person engaged in the real estate or development business, and one economist.

Hearing Information

The Historic Conservation Board convenes bi-monthly Monday meetings at 3:00 p.m. Members of the public may attend Historic Conservation Board hearings in person at Centennial II Building, Conference Room 508, 805 Central Ave, or may watch a livestream video at www.cincinnati-oh.gov/boards. No registration required. Written correspondence for the Board’s consideration is accepted and must be submitted seven calendar days before the hearing.

General questions about hearing processes and procedures, or individuals with disabilities requiring special accommodations to participate in or attend any meeting should call Kasandra Maynes at 513-352-1559.

 Important Application Information

An application will not be deemed complete until all required documents have been submitted and the application fee is paid in full. All transactions must be completed by 4:00pm. No exceptions.  

Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit as early as possible to allow time for review and revisions. Partial applications cannot be processed. Failure to submit a complete application prior to 4:00pm on a deadline date will result in delays to the assigned hearing date.
