Water
In addition to its highly developed and industrial areas, Cincinnati also boasts a variety of natural ecosystems, including the Ohio River, the Mill Creek, and Little Miami watersheds. However, development, invasive plant and animal species, and pollution from combined sewer overflows and contaminated stormwater runoff threaten the health of these vital ecosystems. These threats are expected to increase in the coming years due to the impacts of climate change.
