Assistant City Manager Natasha S. Hampton

Natasha S. Hampton was named Assistant City Manager effective October 2, 2023. With a career spanning more than two decades, Ms. Hampton began her public sector journey in 1997, starting in an entry-level position that would serve as the foundation for career.

Ms. Hampton has served as Acting City Manager, Assistant City Manager, Chief Marketing Officer, and Director of Human Resources in the states of Florida and North Carolina with oversight of more than $3B in general, enterprise and capital funds to date. Ms. Hampton's portfolio included water and wastewater treatment, public works, transmission and distribution, logistics and fiscal quality control, cultural, sports and events facilities construction and management, utilities, emergency management, human services, human resources, as well as union and employee relations.

She is an award-winning public speaker and a University Professor of Business Management, Human Resources and Organizational Behavior.

Ms. Hampton was conferred the degree of Doctorate in Business and Leadership, and holds a Master of Public Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration and is an International City County Manager Association Credentialed Manager (ICMA-CM).
