Transparency in City Business
The City of Cincinnati requires Applicants for City Business (I.E. certain types of development incentives, sales of city property, or zoning changes) to complete the City Business Disclosure Form. The purpose of this process is to improve the transparency of City Business, prevent improper campaign contributions, and identify potential conflicts of interest.
The City Business Disclosure Form is available online (click here). A paper form is available to download and print (click here). A paper form is also available at the front desk of 805 Central Avenue, Suite 110, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.
Disclosure of Financially Interested Persons is governed by Cincinnati Municipal Code Chapter 119. The City Manager has promulgated Procedures, Rules, and Regulations in order to provide additional clarity (click here).

City Business List
The City Business List is a publicly available compilation of “Financially Interested Persons” associated with development incentives valued at $100,000 or more per year, the purchase or lease of City property valued at $200,000 or more, or zoning changes. The purpose of this list is to promote transparency and help avoid conflicts of interest. The data is updated each Wednesday.
Temporary Prohibition List
The Temporary Prohibition List is a publicly available compilation of of “Financially Interested Persons” associated with any ordinance that is actively being reviewed by City Council. Current City of Cincinnati elected officials are not permitted to accept campaign contributions from Financially Interested Persons while they appear on this list. The data is updated each Wednesday.

Search of Financially Interested Persons
The public can search the Financially Interested Persons on the Temporary Prohibition List. Current City of Cincinnati elected officials are prohibited from accepting campaign contributions from these individuals while they appear on the Temporary Prohibition List.
