CINCINNATI– Councilmember Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney spent the afternoon at Purcell Marian with the Cavalier Scholars on Friday, October 15. Councilmember Kearney shared what motivates her to engage in public service and the importance of “answering the call” to serve the community. Importantly, she encouraged the students to consider pursing public service as a future path. In addition, the students and Councilmember Kearney discussed the issues facing society today and how we can tackle these challenges together.
