June 2024: A Very Special Business Enterprise of the Month Award Presentation

Jun 06, 2024

Yesterday, Department of Economic Inclusion Director Laura Castillo made a very special presentation of the June 2024 Business Enterprise of the Month certificate to KT Holden Construction.

KT Holden Construction started out as a material supply and trucking company formerly called KT Supply LTD.  At that time, they provided dump and flatbed trucking services in the tri-state area.  Since purchasing their first truck in 2018, they have expanded their services to include underground utilities, excavation and embankment, as well as small bridges and retaining walls.  In 2023, they changed their name to KT Holden Construction to more appropriately describe the services their business currently offers.

Kate Holden, President, was elated to receive the award and remarked about the value of certification as a platform toward continual business growth.  In addition to the recognition of KT Holden Construction, the award presentation was unique because it was delivered during a meeting of the City of Cincinnati's City Council and also featured recognition of all previous 2024 honorees: C. Renee HR Consulting, Nu-Look Commerical Cleaning, Conventional Pro Lining, D2 Landscaping, and Kaiker Development + Construction. City Manager Sheryl Long was also a part of the presentation, a testament to the importance of the Department of Economic Inclusion's impact on the City's business community.

Congratulations again to KT Holden Construction for being our June 2024 Business Enterprise of the Month and to all of the other businesses who have received this recognition in 2024.
