Department of Economic Inclusion Director Laura Castillo presented R & M Solutions & Repair with the July 2024 Business Enterprise of the Month certificate today. 

R&M Solutions and Repair provides interior and exterior cleanup services including removal and disposal of litter, tires, mattresses, and other large items. They also secure and board up construction sites and provide graffiti removal and cover up services as well. 

DEI staff presented owner Rachel Romanelli with the award this afternoon. As she accepted, she spoke to the profound value of certification with the City of Cincinnati's Department of Economic Inclusion, particularly the awareness it brings of contracting opportunities that she would not know about otherwise. When asked if she has any advice for those considering entrepreneurship and certification, Mrs. Romanelli advised, "go for it, even if it seems a little scary."
