Department of Economic Inclusion

Each year, the Department of Economic Inclusion hosts its Business Enterprise Expo to uplift our city-certified firms and promote inclusive contracting. The Expo aims to highlight the City's MBE/WBE/SBE-certified firms while expanding opportunities and resources for all local businesses. We provided a variety of resources at the event—including access to capital, connections with community resource partners, insights from industry experts, and success stories from small and diverse businesses that have thrived in the local business landscape. Economic Inclusion typically hosts several breakout sessions highlighting key insights from our community partners, contractors and developers, and City departments, and our annual event is free and open to the public each fall at various locations throughout the City.
