Traffic control signs along the street


The Division of Traffic & Engineering manages traffic control signage within the right of way in compliance with the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Highway Administration's Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).

To fabricate and install the traffic control signage, DOTE works in partnership with the Department of Public Services, who screen prints the signs in the City's Sign Shop and installs signs in the right of way.

Handicapped Parking on Streets

Mobility impaired drivers who have a valid State of Ohio handicapped parking placard and who do not have off-street parking at their residence are eligible for a handicapped parking space in the right-of-way. Traffic Engineering will install "handicapped parking only" signs for qualifying individuals.
