Malfunctioning Electric Lights
There are approximately 30,000 electric street lights within the City of Cincinnati along the public right-of-way. About 20,000 of these street lights, owned and maintained by Duke Energy, are on wooden utility poles.
If a light on a wooden pole is malfunctioning or out, please contact Duke Energy.

The City of Cincinnati maintains over 10,000 of street lights in a variety of styles. About 4,500 street lights owned and maintained by the City were converted to LED in 2014 to make the City more sustainable and reduce energy costs.

Neighborhood business districts have distinctive architectural lighting, which are installed as part of streetscapes designed by the Department of Transportation & Engineering and funded through the Neighborhood Business District Improvement Program (NBDIP).
