Lights on wooden poles are owned by Duke Energy


There are approximately 30,000 electric street lights within the City of Cincinnati along the public right-of-way. About 20,000 of these street lights, owned and maintained by Duke Energy, are on wooden utility poles. 

If a light on a wooden pole is malfunctioning or out, please contact Duke Energy.

The City of Cincinnati maintains over 10,000 of street lights in a variety of styles. About 4,500 street lights owned and maintained by the City were converted to LED in 2014 to make the City more sustainable and reduce energy costs.
