From Shopping Mall To Parking Garage

First New Tenant Announced

This afternoon in the Central Business District, City officials and Kingsley Wells Enterprises celebrated the grand opening of the Mabley Place Garage. Named after the old Mabley and Carew Department store from the late 1800s, this bit of Cincinnati history moves forward to accommodate new development in the region’s core.

The first new tenant was announced today as well. Domino’s Pizza is thrilled to finally open a store in downtown Cincinnati. The store will be the 26th store in the Greater Cincinnati area owned and operated by John Glass of Glass Family Pizza Inc.

The store will have an amazing new look and feature a new designed Domino’s concept called the PIZZA THEATRE, which encourages  customers to be part of their pizza making experience. This store will not only be like the traditional Domino’s stores offering delivery service and carry out but it will have 40 seats, Wi-Fi and TVs. The new downtown store will be able to deliver to some neighborhoods that currently they are not, like Downtown, Mt. Adams and the riverfront of Covington. Opening is planned for late December.

"The opening of Mabley Place is a great thing for downtown. This garage is an important component to redeveloping the area around Fourth and Race streets. I want to thank Chinedum Ndukwe for bringing together a group of investors to get this project done and help us build on the momentum we’re having downtown," said Mayor John Cranley.

Mabley Place replaces the old Tower Place Mall. This public parking garage will accommodate 250 newly constructed parking spaces. Added to the 525 existing spaces and approximately 8,400 square feet of front retail spaces, Mabley Place positions itself to be a vital component to downtown’s continued resurgence. This $5 million project increases convenient parking options to the customers of the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, as well as the new businesses yet to open.

Kingsley Wells Enterprises is a growing minority owned development company led by NFL veteran Chinedum Ndukwe who partnered with Jake Warm, CEO of JDL Warm Construction and 4th generation of the Warm Construction Companies.
