Starting Thursday, November 14, Pendleton Street in downtown Cincinnati will close to northbound traffic between Reading Road and E. 12th Street for up to six weeks. A posted detour will be in place. Pendleton will remain open to southbound traffic.

The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) is installing new sewers along Reading Road and also will be rehabilitating existing sewers using a cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining process. The work is expected to be completed by summer 2025, pending weather and field conditions.

The traffic impacts on Pendleton are in addition to lane restrictions already in place on Reading Road between Sycamore and 12th streets. As work progresses, there will be lane restrictions on Reading Road between 12th Street and Elsinore Place.

MSD’s contractor is Ford Development Company. Ford is working 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with work on Fridays as needed.
