CINCINNATI, OH – The Hyde Park Blast will be held this year on Saturday, June 24, 2023.  This event will include foot races, bike races, music and food.  Due to the many activities and the size of the crowd, many of the streets surrounding Hyde Park Square will be closed for the majority of the day.

Beginning at 4:00 AM on Saturday, June 24, 2023 the following roads will close to all through traffic until approximately Midnight:

Erie Avenue- closed between Mooney Avenue and Paxton Avenue

Edwards Road- closed between Observatory Avenue and Wasson Road

Michigan Avenue- closed between Observatory Avenue and Wasson Road

Shaw Avenue- closed between Observatory Avenue and Wasson Road

This closure will expand for different activities throughout the day.  All local traffic will be maintained with the assistance of the Cincinnati Police on site for the event.

Motorists not destined for the area are urged to use alternate routes.

METRO BUS SERVICE WILL BE DETOURED AROUND THE AREA. RIDERS SHOULD USE THE NEAREST STOP OUTSIDE THE CLOSURE AREA. MINOR DELAYS MAY BE EXPECTED.
