Lane Restrictions for Bengals' 2019 Home Games

CINCINNATI – Are you ready for some football?

The City of Cincinnati has put together a list of traffic restrictions/road closures to make sure motorists and sports fans have the information they need to get around Downtown on Bengals game day.

In order to minimize confusion while going to or coming from the games, fans are reminded of the following restrictions around Paul Brown Stadium on the day of a typical preseason or regular-season game. The information remains the same whether opening kick off takes place Sunday afternoon, late Sunday evening or any other day of the week.

If the Bengals qualify for the postseason, the City will update this information accordingly.

Public Transportation

The Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar provides football fans with a safe, convenient way to get to and from Paul Brown Stadium during home games. Using the streetcar enables fans to to park a little farther north of the stadium in the Central Business District or Over-the-Rhine and park at a meter or a parking facility.

The streetcar’s Cincinnati Cyclones Station no. 1 at The Banks just a short walk to and from the stadium.

Streetcar tickets are $1 for two hours or $2 for an all-day pass. Metro Day Pass and 30-Day Pass holders can ride the streetcar for no additional cost. The Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar runs on game days from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to skip the ticket vending machine lines by purchasing their fare using the Cincy EZRide app. For information about the streetcar, where to board and other tips for riding, go to www.cincinnatibellconnector.com.

There are a variety of on-street, garage and lot parking locations throughouth Downtown Cincinnati. For instance, parking at the Town Center Garage (Central Parkway) is $5 to $10 on game days and the City also owns the Garfield Garage on Ninth Street. Additional information on City-run parking facilities and meters is available at cincinnati-oh.gov/parking.

On-Street Parking Near PBS

For those looking to park a little closer to the action, the City of Cincinnati offers a “Bengals Event Zone” for on-street parking near Paul Brown Stadium. Parking meters within the zone charge a $15 flat fee starting four hours before kickoff. Motorists can now pay the fee when they park their vehicles, and not have to worry about extending their meter time during the game.

The zone is in effect for all Bengals day games on Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is not effect for games at any other time of day or day of the week.

The Bengals Event Zone runs roughly from Central Avenue to the west and Joe Nuxhall Way to the east, between Freedom Way and West Seventh Street (see map below). There are more than 400 parking meters within the zone. Meter display screens will indicate if they are located within the zone.

Parking in the Event Zone is another way the City of Cincinnati is making it easier for people to visit the Central Business District and The Banks.
