City Prepares for Upcoming Snow 2/10/2025

Feb 10, 2025

The City of Cincinnati is ready for snowfall forecasted to begin Tuesday. The Department of Public Service (DPS) crews have started pretreating roads with liquid treatments. Starting February 11, crews will work 12-hour shifts to ensure continuous coverage and quick response to weather changes.

Snow is expected to begin Tuesday morning, with accumulations of 1 to 2 inches possible by the end of the day. Additional light snow is expected Tuesday night, with less than an inch of accumulation. Rain is likely to follow on Wednesday.

Motorists are reminded to exercise caution while on the road during winter weather events. With low temperatures, slick spots are possible in areas prone to black ice – including bridges, tunnels, hills and underpasses. We also ask drivers to be patient and provide plenty of room for snowplows to safely work when clearing roadways. Residents are also encouraged to utilize off-street parking when available.

Residents may report urgent matters and customer service requests to the City by visiting www.311Cincy.com or by utilizing the 311Cincy mobile app.
