This Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. business owners from across the Tri-State area will be converging on the Duke Energy Center to meet with City-certified business enterprises willing and able to make business opportunities happen. This is the Department of Economic Inclusion’s (DEI) inaugural Business Enterprise EXPO, a flip on what many perceive as a traditional professional matchmaking event.
This is just one of several programs offered by DEI as it works to ensure economic opportunity, inclusion, and access for all citizens seeking to do business with the City of Cincinnati.
“This EXPO is opening doors that may not have been opened before because this kind of networking is unprecedented for Cincinnati,” said Collin Mays, Director of the Department of Economic Inclusion. “This is our inaugural Business Enterprise Expo. We have set high expectations and plan to incorporate even more opportunities for 2023 because DEI is committed to opportunity and access for all!”
“This event serves as an incredible opportunity for business owners to connect, collaborate and promote their hard work,” Mayor Aftab said. “Yet again, our City is creating a space for professionals of all backgrounds to network and build something meaningful. I am proud of DEI’s commitment to making it come to life.”
DEI offers other City-certified resources throughout the year including access to city contracts and bidding opportunities, marketing & branding assistance, workforce development, and monthly business development training sessions.
