Primitive Survival Skills for Adults
Build outdoor confidence as you make a cozy winter shelter with natural insulation. Unplug from modern supply chains as you twist thread, twine, or rope from of the stalks of plants. Reconnect with nature and ancient history as you coax a roaring fire from moving wood. Additional primitive survival skills or extra practice with previous skills will be offered as time permits. Success is likely but not guaranteed. Much of the instruction and practice will be outdoors. Some locations will be reached by trail. Meet in the Lindberg Nature Center. Sign up for any or all classes in the series. Register online by the Wednesday before each session.
