A Mindfulness Walk in the Krohn Conservatory
Come join us for an indoor, guided mindfulness walk surrounded by tropical greenery, spring flowers, a waterfall and beautiful lantern lights at the Krohn Conservatory.
Enjoy the serenity of nature, as we relax by slowly walking, breathing and reawakening our five senses - sight, sound, taste, touch and scent. This program, held against the backdrop of the popular Krohn Conservatory Spring Flower Exhibit, is designed after a Japanese-inspired practice called “Shinrin-Yoku” (translated as forest bathing or bathing in the healing elements of nature).
The program includes a slow guided walk with a sequence of soothing, nature-based readings, moments of stillness and poetry led by Pam Lowe Cho, ANFT-Certified Forest Therapy Guide and Executive Coach.
Price: $20/person
Forest Bathing is one of the most exciting and rapidly growing relaxation practices being used by wellness practitioners around the world. We’ll use the patterns found in nature and the Krohn Conservatory spring flower show to relax our minds and restore our bodies.
You’ll learn nature therapy tips you can take home and seamlessly integrate into your daily life.
Pam Cho, a former corporate executive, has been an executive coach since 2009. During the pandemic she introduced outdoor coaching sessions to her clients offering relief from stress, depression, and anxiety. Pam recently journeyed to Japan to study with Japanese Forest Bathing Guides, and brings this enriched experience to our program.
You don’t want to miss this special opportunity to reconnect with nature at the beautiful Krohn Conservatory.
