The Ault Park Fireworks are ON!

  • Jun 10, 2024

The community stepped up to fundraise and successfully secured the funding necessary for the event and the 58th Annual Ault Park Fireworks will officially continue this year on July 4th. The event will include a children’s bike-scooter-wagon parade and decoration contest starting at 11:00am with walk-up registration beginning at 10:30am. The evening programming will run from 6:00pm-10:00pm with food trucks, live music from the Cassette Junkies and Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks at dusk.  Cincinnati Parks will produce the event, bringing their exceptional event planning and logistics experience. The Cincinnati Parks Foundation is serving as the fiscal partner, managing funds and expenditures. UDF is again stepping forward as Presenting Sponsor, continuing their multi-year support for the event.

Seth Walsh, Cincinnati City Councilmember: “I am thrilled that the 58th Annual Ault Park Fireworks are officially on for this summer. This event is a part of the fabric of summertime in Cincinnati and the community stepped up and came together to ensure that it will happen again this year. Cincinnati never ceases to amaze me. I can’t wait to attend in July.”

Jason Barron, Cincinnati Parks Director: "The community really stepped up to the plate to ensure that the Ault Park Fireworks would continue. Councilmember Walsh deserves a ton of credit for stepping in and injecting new life into this beloved event. And of course, we are always lucky to have the Parks Foundation by our side to make great things happen. Rest assured your Cincinnati Parks team is ready and excited to do our part in continuing this cherished tradition in Ault Park."

Jennifer Spieser, Cincinnati Parks Foundation President & CEO: “The Cincinnati Parks Foundation is delighted to support this 57-year tradition at Ault Park with the team at Cincinnati Parks. We are grateful for the many generous Cincinnatians who make special and free events like this possible. Anytime we can collaborate with the community to do more in Parks is a WIN for ALL!”

Several community members raised funds for the event since Councilmember Walsh announced the Cincinnati Parks was eager to help continue the event, as outlined in the City Manager’s recent report. Efforts will now begin to form a volunteer-led committee to help ensure that the fireworks continue sustainably well into the future. As of June 3, the following donors have graciously stepped up to save the fireworks this year, however, to ensure we keep this tradition going, please continue to give to the Cincinnati Parks Foundation Fireworks at Ault Park Fund:
