Cincinnati Parks to make Paw-sitive Changes to Doris Day Dog Park
- Aug 28, 2024
With the help of community advocates and the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, Cincinnati Parks is excited to continue work to make improvements to Mt. Airy’s Doris Day Dog Park. At nearly 4 acres, the amenity is the largest dog park managed by Cincinnati Parks with separate areas for big and small dog visitors.
We thank everyone who took part in the recent online engagement session and public survey in early 2024 as we kicked off the effort. The feedback showed Doris Day is a beloved community asset, adored for its spacious, natural setting, yet it needs improvements to the muddy terrain, maintenance, and amenities.
Next, up for the project is to use the community feedback to inform for the planning and design stage, estimated to take place in 2025. We look forward to making Doris Day Dog Park an amazing experience for all human and dog guests. We appreciate your patience as we work to deliver the best possible final product, we can all be proud of for generations to come. Thank you for your continued support and helpful feedback on revitalizing this popular regional attraction.
