CUSTOMER SERVICE LOBBY

The Customer Service Lobby is REOPENED to in-person services at the Permit Center.  Our office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

The services available are as follows:

  • Apply for permits, revisions or picking up permits and plans
  • Tier 1 (Same Day Review Program) – completed on a first-come, first served basis from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Research record archives
  • General Questions/Customer Service

On March1, 2022, all unvaccinated persons including City employees, contractors, and all other unvaccinated visitors and unvaccinated invitees to City facilities must wear masks while visiting the City facilities.  Vaccinated visitors are ENCOURGAGED to wear a mask in accordance with their individual comfort levels.

While we reopened our doors, our online permitting services remain the best way to have your permit processed. We still encourage you to submit your application through Electronic Plan Submission, Online application (plumbing and HVAC) or mail – 805 Central Avenue, Suite 500, Cincinnati, OH  45202.  Customers can still utilize document drop-off boxes located in the lobby of Centennial II, 805 Central Avenue, Cincinnati, OH  45202 for those NOT wishing to visit the Permit Center – Customer Service lobby.

It is our goal to continue to offer excellent service to our customers and we continue to work to develop a process that is both efficient and safe for customers and staff. We understand these are challenging times and appreciate your understanding and continued flexibility.

Building Inspections

We continue to schedule inspections, however, we ask that you consider your client before scheduling an in-home inspection. When an inspector arrives to perform an inspection they will ask if anyone is exhibiting symptoms and will request you remain at least 6ft apart during the inspection.
