Revision Process

Step 9 of 12

Step 9: Revision Process (Corrections, Clarifications & Changes)

If your application doesn't meet the minimum requirements of the building codes, you'll be notified by mail, email, and online with a adjudication order.

This is a  request for additional information and/or correction(s) to be made to the documents or drawings.

You're responsible for submitting corrected documents (revisions) to the Plan Examiner for re-review. Revisions are turned around in 5 working days or less (90% of the time).

You'll be assessed a Revision Fee to your Permit Fee when the permit is approved.

You have six months from the date of the adjudication order to respond before the application is considered invalid. You can get an extension.

If your application is denied, you can appeal this decision to the Board of Building Appeals.

When the Plan Examiner determines that the documents comply with the building codes, the computer record is updated and the application is signed as "Approved."

The review process and actions taken by all the reviewing agencies can be monitored through ezTrak. This program is designed to let you check the status of applications by address or project number.
