The City is installing bike lanes on Langdon Farm Rd between Montgomery Rd and Wiehe Rd. The bike lanes are being added to the redesigned, rightsized street as part of our routine Street Rehabilitation Program. The bike lanes will connect to existing bike lanes on Langdon Farm Rd between Wiehe Rd and Reading Rd, and existing bike lanes on Montgomery Rd between Langdon Farm Rd and Ridgeland Place. The Pleasant Ridge Community Council requested that the City investigate redesigning Langdon Farm Rd due to concerns about speeding, and it was determined that removing a travel lane and adding bike lanes was the best way to calm traffic.
