Ohio River Trail: State to Fairbanks

UPDATE: Please use the form below to share your feedback with us. Feedback will be accepted through May 25, 2024.

Once completed, the Ohio River Trail will span 23 miles along the north bank of the Ohio River from Coney Island through Downtown to Sayler Park. The trail will enhance quality of life and connect our neighborhoods to Downtown and the world-class Cincinnati Riverfront Park. View other trail segments that have been completed or are in development.

The State to Fairbanks section of trail is currently being designed. No funding has been identified yet for construction. A preferred alignment has been selected based on engineering review and public input gathered in person and online. The City is coordinating with the adjacent railroad(s) in order to pursue this alignment; railroad coordination is expected to continue through summer of 2024. Once railroad coordination is complete, final engineering can begin and construction funding will be sought.
