Central Parkway Phase 3: Plum to Eggleston
This extension of the Central Parkway protected bike lanes will connect the existing protected bike lanes north of Plum Street to the existing Eggleston Ave shared-use path. The Department of Transportation and Engineering (DOTE) is evaluating 2 design alternatives for this 0.6 mile connection. Both alternatives would include protected bike lanes on Central Parkway, and an extension of the Eggleston Sidepath to Central Parkway.
DOTE issued a survey in April 2023 to collect public feedback on the two design alternatives. Based on the feedback received, and further evaluation of both options, DOTE is considering moving forward with Alternate 1. A final decision will be made at the end of March 2024.
