CRC Clifton Recreation Center’s Grand Re-Opening, January 27

For months, workers have been busy on the Clifton Recreation Center renovation, and construction is complete. The center’s grand re-opening/ribbon cutting will be Tuesday, January 27 at 10:00 a.m.

Following the re-opening ceremony, the building will remain open until 2:00 p.m. to give visitors the opportunity to see the new facility and grounds.

The regular center hours will be Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Play Pickleball with CRC

Pickleball is a sport for all ages – youth, teen, adults and seniors. It is a quick, fast-paced game played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. Pickleball is played indoors in a gym or outdoors on a modified/smaller tennis court (44’ x 20’).

CRC’s Miracle League Players at RedsFest
CRC’s Miracle League Players at RedsFest

Miracle League baseball players made dreams come true on Saturday, December 6 at RedsFest – a Cincinnati Reds two-day fan fest at the Duke Energy Convention Center, downtown Cincinnati. Miracle League players played an adapted game of baseball on the indoor Gorilla Glue Field of Dreams. Players and their families enjoyed three innings in which everyone had a chance to hit balls pitched from professional Reds player Jay Bruce.
