- CPD Observes Domestic Violence Awareness Month
As the nation observes the 20th anniversary of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), the Cincinnati Police Department continues its commitment to eradicating domestic violence in our neighborhoods and assisting victims of domestic violence.
- Volunteers join CPD and Lighthouse Youth Services
Fifteen people who had been homeless and camping in an area on West Fifth Street have been connected with social service programs through the efforts of Lighthouse Youth Services Sheakley Center for Youth and the Cincinnati Police Department.
- Medication Disposal Day
Drop of unused and/or expired prescription and over-the-counter medication NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Law enforcement officers will collect and then dispose of medications/containers in a safe, environmentally friendly manner according to EPA guidelines.
