Special Event Permits

The Cincinnati Police Department is responsible for issuing Special Event Permits as needed.

A Special Event Permit is required if the event:

  • occurs on public property and the attendance will be 3,000 or more; OR
  • occurs on public property and there will be alcohol sales

Permit Applications

Please, pay close attention to the deadline dates for permit applications.

Permits must be filled in completely and signed by the requesting individual.

When complete, please mail your permit applications to the Special Events Unit. Or, you can drop them off at any of the five neighborhood Police Districts.
