Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) IT Section was presented with an Indus Excellence Award.  The Indus Excellence Awards are presented annually to those who exemplify operational excellence by leading their industry in at least one of five criteria:  innovation, positive business results, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and quality.

GCWW received the award for Operational Efficiency by achieving high levels of operational performance and service delivery while managing costs.  GCWW replaced its mainframe-based billing system and paper-based work management system with an integrated Indus Service Delivery Management solution incorporating best-in-class customer and asset management applications, complemented by a suite of geographic information systems (GIS) applications.  GCWW now has integrated work and inventory management, improved resource utilization, and enhanced customer service.  Furthermore, the system enables integration of work processes that require information from across the organization, further optimizing efficiency and responsiveness.
