If We Cannot Get to the Meter for Readings
Regular meter reading is the best way to manage usage and discover leaks. To be sure you get an accurate reading each billing period:
  1. Arrange to have someone at home on the scheduled reading day.
  2. Call in a reading to our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system using the card left by the Meter Reader on the regularly scheduled reading date.
  3. Arrange to have an electronic meter installed.

If the Meter Reader is not able to get in on the regularly scheduled reading date, you may call your reading in using our IVR, or we will estimate the reading. A called-in reading will still appear on your bill as an estimated reading since our employee did not make the reading.

If you receive an estimated bill, you should make arrangements for an actual reading to be made on the next regularly scheduled reading date.
