Montana Avenue: Boudinot to Farrell

Description - This plan will improve safety on Montana Avenue and maintain the residential character of the street. This proposed project will adjust the lane widths to meet modern standards and will add left turn lanes where needed. The City is working with the community to gather comments, to hear concerns and collect input on different elements in the project.

Red Bank Expressway: Colbank to I-71

Two segments in various stages -
1) Fair Lane to Brotherton, Phase 2A - widening road in partnership with Village of Fairfax. Under construction.
2) Fair Lane to Brotherton, Phase 2B - widening Brotherton and Erie at Murray. New signal at Murray/Erie - in final design.
3) Colbank to I-71 - Major study in conjunction with Eastern Corridor Major Investment Study. Planning in partership with Hamilton County Transportation District, Ohio Department of Transportation.
River Road: Mt Echo Avenue to Illinois Avenue

Project involves widening River Road to 52 feet and straightening the sharp curve at Mt. Echo. Construction is scheduled for 2006 and 2007.
River Road Improvements: Dart to Illinois

Street improvement at Hillside Avenue includes re-alignment of curve to the south, new pavement, concrete curbs, left turn lane, and water main reconstruction. A street rehabilitation will be performed along the remaining project limits.
Vine Street: Nixon to Erkenbrecher

The project includes widening Vine Street to 5 lanes, bike friendly curb lanes, curb, sidewalk, and an intersection realignment at Erkenbrecher and Vine. Anticipated construction start Spring 2008.
HAM-US27-6.99 Colerain Avenue from Virginia to Leeper

Improve the horizontal geometry and widen to standard lane widths. This project is the last piece of the improvements to Colerain Avenue (US 27) north of I-74.

Rapid Run Road Improvements

This project includes the construction of an additional inbound travel lane from Covedale Avenue to Nebraska Avenue. From Nebraska Avenue to Glenway Avenue, the project will consist of street resurfacing and curb repairs. Construction begins in August 2007.
Harrison Avenue Improvement

This project extends from the Western Corporation limit, Higee Street, to Queen City Avenue. The majority of the project consists of street resurfacing and curb repair with the remainder including spot improvements at various safety problem locations. Construction to begin in 2012.
