Streetcar Progress Update: October 19, 2015

2^nd & Main Street Intersection Remains Closed Oct 11-30 for Final Track Work

Last week, crews welded the last two rails on the Cincinnati Streetcar track at the corner of 2^nd and Main.  However, work continues as crews pour concrete and perform remaining steps to complete the trackwork.  A full closure of the intersection remains in effect through October 30.

Block by Block Construction –Oct 19-25, 2015

MAIN STREET:

• At 2^nd:  stop power work (1 week remaining), new curve track work (2 weeks remaining)
• 2^nd to 6^th:  asphalt paving work (1 week remaining)
• 3^rd to 4th:  paver and restoration work (2 weeks remaining)

 

 WALNUT STREET:

• 2^nd to Central Parkway:  OCS wire adjustments (1 week remaining)
• 7^th to Central Parkway:  traffic signal work (1 week remaining)
• 9^th to Central Parkway:  underground feeder wires (1 week remaining)

 

PROGRESS LAST WEEK:

The last track weld at 2nd and Main Streets.
